Flexible Grouping: Students are to complete questions associated to worksheet

 

Assessment: Students will be assessed based on their ability to answer questions posed based on work sheet. Teacher will keep a met or did not meet notes associated with set activity

 

Activating Strategies: The teacher will lead the students in a grouping activity (perhaps students wearing t-shirts on one side of the carpeted area and students without on the other) followed with a discussion about which group has more/less how many there are on each side.

 

Applying Strategies:    Once students have returned to their work area, the teacher will hand out the work sheet and the sheet which the students are to find their answers from. The students will be handed activity sheet consisting of pre-posed questions which they are to answer in complete sentences on lines following the questions.

 

Learning Styles:

Visual:  sheet contains a variety of different shaped/types of fish that the students will have to identify.

Auditory: students will have to listen to instructions.
