Our Trip really started in Banff where after a gruelling twelve hour trip through
Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Parts of Alberta.. we arrived in Banff. This is one
of the famous shots you see of Banff Avenue on a sunny day.

During our Stay in Banff we took in one of the more famous hiking trails in the park
well to call it a trail is a bit funny.. it has paved paths and massive catwalks for
a mass of tourists that come to Banff National Park. This is a shot of one of the
falls in the canyon.

We took a short stop to see Lake Louise in its finery..... we got there really early
in the morning so that the rest of the tourists wouldnt be cluttering the photo ..but
as you can see we still managed to get a few in there...laughs..

Still further along the road we stopped at a road side rest and found this wonderful
spot that had a hiking trail through a giant red cedar forest... well I know there
are some areas in the West Coast were they are larger...but coming from the
prairies we were sure impressed...

One of the reasons that we planned this trip was to attend a wedding.. here in this
photo you can see the bride and groom and a few clingons... riding in the horse drawn
wedding Carriage.... The wedding took place in Victoria, British Columbia. I have to
say this was one lovely wedding.....almost out of a story book....

Part of the wedding festivities was a arm wrestle with the Groom... I will let you
guess who won this one.......laughs....... just look at the cheeks on the guy on the
right... I think he is about to blow a gasket..

We took a drive up the coast of Vancouver Island... and stopped at a rest spot..
here is a guy (you might know him) posing infront of a group of Tourists... trees that
is.....laughs... There is this wonderful tree on the west coast and I suppose
elsewhere, these trees shed their bark.. and have a smooth reddish surface..really
quite remarkable... actually I think I was waiting to get into one of the outhouses
on the side of the photo....laughs......
Well that is about all that I have..oh wait....one more... I think of the worlds Largest
truck in Sparwood BC...

This was taken as we were heading home ...from Fernie, BC and just had to stop and
take a shot of this one... this is big open pit coal mining area.. and you can see
by the size comparison that this is one "BIG" truck...
Well for now that really is all she wrote...I hope to get back to adding more photos
on this page in the near future..send you comments if you would...take care.
