Removed tires and rims from car, thinking of blasting rims
after tires are dismounted in preparation for new tires. Started
painting rear end housing after cleanup. Snugged bolts on transmission
to see if I could stem the small leak...didnt seem to work.

Called around Brandon for tire prices, Paid for parts for starter overhaul
Blasted rims after removing old tires and painted them up with chassis black
Adjusted right exhaust pipe to stop the banging against underside of floor.

Picked up repainted rims at work and delivered them to Reg's tire
Installation and balancing of 185's on front.. 205's on rear
Warmed up car and took it for a ride along Richmond..up to 75 mph..
slight amount of shake in suspension. Taped up tears in seat to try and stop
material from ripping further.

Took fairlane for another ride around neighborhood with repair plate on.
I believe I was almost out of gas for it was starting to hesitate a bit.

Decided to remove fuel tank, borrowed tank pump from work to empty tank.
There was less than 1 gallon of gas in the tank. I was going to clean and repair
filler tube and check on condition of sending unit in tank.

Borrowed a deep socket from work and finally removed the tank.
Bead blasted tanks straps and painted them red. Cleaned inside of tank with
Toilet bowl cleaner and water and roofing nails to remove the rust buildup. Worked!

Reinstalled fuel tank on car after testing and cleaning sending unit
Purchased a filler tube at Brandon Bearing.. a piece of 2" hydraulic hose for
the coupler to the tank. Purchased new gas and started car..to warm..... ran well.

Bought 10 more gallons of feul to fill tank to see how many total gallons
it would tank...approximately 13.5 Gallons. Fuel gauge still doesnt register full but close.
Started to think about the cost of a new exhaust system to replace the patch work job.

Ordered a new interior dome light from B &H Automotive in Ontario.
Started to remove the old brown seat belts from the car.

Removed Front seat from car, to see if cloth could be replaced.
Found one of the bolts to be broken and will require repair this next week before
I reinstall. Took seat to BP Upolstery for a qoute on repairs...

Removed seat belts and rear carpet from car to clean all the junk underneath.
Had to use Laquer thinners to remove the oil spill from carpet and hosed off
with water Primed and painted floor pan before reinstalling carpet.
Removed rear tires and rims from rear of car to start undercoating the area.

Reinstalled carpet in car, Sanded and painted door sills to clean up primer and
overspray. Removed all bolts from upper front fender to clean and clearcoat
John helped me braze a new bolt for the seat at work.

Blasted scuff plate supports and repainted with rust resistant red. Blasted
rear ashtrays and clear coated. Reinstalled front seat and door sills and scuff plates.

Picked up a set of rear seat belts from a 78 Meteor ..actually two cars to get
all the parts I needed at Wesman Salvage. Installed seat belts in car..worked great
and they are the right or close colour....BLUE.

Worked on the undercoating on the car... i think I am up to about 6 cans
in total for the complete job .. I used rubberized undercoater from Ctire.
Made appointment at Minute Muffler for exhaust system on Tuesday next.
Started wire brushing and sanding out rocker panels to prepare for primer,
rock guard and repaint.

Completed cleaning up rust and old paint on rockers and under side of
fenders primed and rockgaurded and painted in one day...worked pretty good match
to white colour on car. Remounted tires and rims finally again....been off two weeks!

Removed cleaned and clear coated a few frame bolts on car. Took apart trunk lock
to adjust and clean...closed trunk and COULDNT GET IN...yikes...took out back seat
and undid the bolts on latch and readjusted.
Ordered waterpump from Napa C5AE 8505-C

plate from work to take car to Minute Muffler for exhaust tommorrow.

Picked up car at Minute Muffler......took an extra day to complete the bends for
for the exhaust system ...thrush HUSH mufflers and a clean clean Job by Gary Curtis.
Picked up waterpump at Napa, removed fan and pulleys from car in preparation to start
installing the new pump...after painting of course. Clearcoated all bolts on front
of engine.

Ron gave me a 2" spacer from one of the Shelby Mustangs he worked on. Installed
waterpump and all the parts on front of engine including brackets pulleys and fan
started car after refilling the antifreeze. I think I have a few leaks in the gasket.

Attempted to fix crack in dashpad with vinyl repair kit....DIDNT WORK.
Found antifreeze leak at front of engine.... must be running from the timing cover.
repainted some of the blackout areas on the front grill, then started to look at all
the rusty parts and such on front end..and started to remove all the front end
parts including bumper brakets grill hood supports and latch mechanism front fascia
Checked oil and detected a strong odour of gasoline...idling too much I think..

Blasted all the front end parts and repainted at work. While parts were off
repainted all front grill areas and areas under front of car.

Reinstalled all painted parts to front of car see list above! Borrowed a torque
wrench from work and checked the tightness of all the bolts on the water pump to spec.
removed parklight assemblies for cleaning and repainting and fixing up the wiring.

Bead Blasted and repainted rear bumper parts and reinstalled. When pressure testing
coolant system I found that the rad solder joint at the top was gone......
made appointment to get it fixed.

Took Radiator to Brandon Radiator to have cleaned and repaired picked up after
work and reinstalled in car. The job done wasnt very quality but the solder is good.
