Reports
a) Treasurer
- Ed Burridge (absent)
- last

Union and entered their signatures as signing authorities for the organization. However, Westoba has insisted on at least
three signing officers for the organization and is awaiting the signature of the
organization’s Secretary.
b) Secretary
- Elaine Riesmeyer (absent)
- It
was suggested that the e-mail notice with details of each upcoming BSC meeting
should be sent out to the general membership about a week or so prior to that
date

- Tentatively
scheduled for mid-April 2009
- Club
members are encouraged to take pictures and write articles about their diving

d) Membership
- Linda Burridge (absent)
- Questions
were asked about how many active/current members were in the Club, how many
were long-time members? How many were recent members?
- Questions
about the basis for our “annual”
membership fee: calendar year? Twelve
months from the most recent cheque? Twelve months from the previous cheque?
- Rather
than recruit from the general public, it would be more efficient to develop our
membership from amongst known divers in western Manitoba, e.g. phone calls?
- what
portion of the C&L Scuba “graduates”
actually go on to purchase a BSC membership?
- BSC
membership fees remain at $20 single, $25 family. Non-current members and guests will be
charged a fee when they attend Club activities
