Valve Cover Races Just to let everyone know who's interested, this year at the 10th Anniversary Assiniboine Valley Run Car Show we will be having valve cover races! What are valve cover races? Well, pick yourself up a valve cover, put wheels on it, and race it down our track. Here's the info...

RULES:

* Recognizable valve cover *
* NO engines - NO propulsion of any kind *
* No moving or movable weight *
* Readily available wheels. Wheels can be attached to the car in any manner *
* Wheels must have a non-metallic surface contacting the track *
* No object may extend beyond the front of the valve cover or chassis *
* Your valve cover must have a name (preferably on it) *
* One valve cover per chassis - no switching chassis or cover *

CRITICAL WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS:

* Ten (10) pound maximum weight (by official scales only) *
* Ten (10) inch maximum width *
* Thirty (30) inch maximum length *
* Ten (10) inch maximum height *

This will be a double knockout system. Contestants may also challenge other contestants (after knockout rounds) for the ever precious bragging rights

PRIZES:

* First Place *
* Second Place *
* Ugly Duckling (Like it says, yours is the least attractive) *
* Pretty Boy (Yours is the most attractive) *

Valve cover races are open to ALL participants AND spectators.
