Clown
Ken's Bands

When Gay and Kerry decided to quit Al and I found Tim, and through him, Ian. We reformed as Clown.

We played nearly every weekend in the summer and fall of 1970.

Highlights :

First gig in Kelwood - My amp, died.
Redvers Saskatchewan - Running out of gas.
University Pubs and Dances
We broke up when Ian joined the Eighth St. Bridge and I got an offer from Blind Justice. A step up for each of us.

Equipment

Guitars : Hagstrom. (Now stripped again - to natural blond finish.

In the fall of 1970 I acquired Dave Jason's old Hohner Organ which I traded for an old Gibson SG - $150 difference. Sold the Hagstrom.
Amp : Traynor 6 - 10's.
Effects : Fuzz Tone
P.A. Garnet with columns. No monitors.
Vehicles : Al Rhodes' car and trailer.

Tim is still in the music business. He composed some music for the fireworks display at Expo 86 in Vanocuver. He has travelled in China demonstrating music technology.
Ian was working for Long and McQuade Music in Winnipeg the last time I saw him. He passed away in 2007.
