Classes and Workshops

The following is a list of programs being offered.   For ALL classes and workshops, we must have registrations in 2 weeks prior to each event.  Minimum numbers are required for these programs to run.

  • Guitar lessons, more information to follow shortly
• CREATIVE WRITING:  Instructor:  Karen Emilson of Vogar, MB
  • Dates:  May 19 & 20th
  • Time:  8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Fee:  $110.00 per student

• ADVANCED POTTERY:  Instructor:  Cheryl Orr

  • Dates: TBA

  • Duration - 8 weeks

  • Time:  7 pm  -  9 pm

  • Location:  Craft Loft

  • Fees:  $105.00 plus cost of clay

• SKETCHING:   dates for  classes TBA

• SCRATCH ART:  Instructor:  Linda Skeoch

  • Date:  TBA

  • Fee:  $37.00

• NEEDLE TATTING:  Instructor:  Dianne Willey - ancient art of lace making  - Fine Knot Lace.  This tatting is an easier technique than shuttle tatting.  Lefthanders can do this with ease!

  • Date:  May 17, 2006

  • Fee:  $50.00 (kit & supplies included)

• STAINED GLASS:  Instructor:  Pat Graham

  • All classes temporarily on hold until further notice.

• SUMMER ART CLASSES:  for ages 3 to 12 years.  Will run during July and August, 2006, in Carberry, Wellwood and Brookdale.   Watch the local newspaper and flyers coming home from school for more information

• INTRO TO JUNIOR DANCE:  Instructor:  Michelle Duchambo.

  • Dates:  Every Wednesday afternoon starting July 12,  and ending August 16

  • Classes will run according to age & interest:

    • 3 - 5 years:  Creative Dance: fee - $62.00 for 6 half-hour sessions

    • 6 - 12 years:  Hip-Hop, Jazz or Ballet:  fee - $72.00 for 6 hour-long sessions

  MINI LANDSCAPE & MODEL RAILROAD CONSTRUCTION:  Instructor:  Paul Bailey
  • Date:  TBA
  • Fees:  $25.00 (under 12 years, must be accompanied by an adult)
