· Experience in herbicide and fungicide efficacy, trait evaluation and pesticide screening, in different field crops at South Western Manitoba. 

· Five years training and teaching experience to field staff and progressive farmers regarding current agricultural management practices to enhance farm income.

· Skills facilitating strategic activities regarding farm profitability, sustainability, food safety and quality, agricultural awareness and willing to travel.

· Eligible for membership in the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists. 

· Sound knowledge of agronomy, plant breeding, crop production, crop physiology, weed science and statistics.

· Outstanding desire for learning and dedication to make contributions to Manitoba Agriculture and Food through agricultural industry developments.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, personal interaction and ability to provide leadership and work in a team environment. 

· Skills in Agricultural statistical soft wares (ARM, PRM 5 & PRM for windows) word processing software e.g., MS word, Word perfect 7.0 and Windows 98.
